 The organized picks and Round 1 standings for this week's
tournament are up on the site. We chose 32 golfers. As one
might expect, Tiger found another blond girl. And he is the
lone unanimous this week. Guinness swilling Irishman Graeme
McDowell was the 2nd favorite, picked 11 times. Limey Justin
Rose made it on to 10 teams. Eight of us think Keegan will tilt
his head just right this week. Tour ya-hoo Bubba Watson and the
Spaniard who's name should never be said in the same sentence as
fellow countrymen Seve and Joe Mary, Sergio Garcia, were picked
7 times each. European gay boy Ian Poulter got the nod 5
times. Soccer hooligan Lee Westwood, video star Hunter Mahan
and the arthritic Phil Mickelson are 4-baggers. First runner-up
in the tour ya-hoo category, Boo Weekley, and Thurston and
Lovey's boy, Chucky Howell, are the only treys. Probably the
dullest group of deuces ever: Jason Dufner, Webb Simpson, Justin
Hicks and Brandt Snedeker.Half of the picks are uniques. Dave B. leads with 5. Chris has 3. Dave A. checks in with 2. Shelly, Steve, Jordie, Randy, Brian and Dan each have 1. That leaves Brett, Hugh, Bill, both Mikes and me totally uniqueless this week. A few clear favorites and lots of uniques. I think Arnie would be proud of us... most of us, anyway. It's the King's tournament, on the King's course, in the land of Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. It's just gotta be a good one, just gotta... Let's get it on! Later,
