 The
picks and early round 1 standings for this week's tournament are up
on the site. We chose 28 different golfers. Last year's winner,
Dustin Johnson, was a unanimous pick, so he really doesn't matter.
Man-boobs was the 2nd favorite, picked 12 times. Nick Watney made
his way on to 9 teams. Eight of us think Vijay's performance last
week was no fluke. Former porn star John B. Holmes got the nod 7
times. Furyk and Clark were chosen 6 times each. Mahan and
Snedeker were 4-baggers. The treys include Mark Wilson, Stevey
Marino and Gee-off. Weir, Duval and Points were all the deuces.We got some uniques this week... Lucky thirteen of'em. Randy and Dan led the way with 3 each. Chris, Dave A. and Mike M. had 2 each. Dave B. squeezed out one and the other 8 players kept it real and didn't manage a unique pick this week. The Monterey Peninsula in February... I'd rather be there then in this zero degree crap... Even if I did have to play with some unfunny comedian I've never heard of or the unknown pro from Dover. Ah yes, to hit a ball in to the ocean on #18... but instead I will watch on TV (dvr'd of course, so I can fast forward past the amateur's swings and wasteful "interviews"). And it will be more fun following this jack-thrust, ass-kicking set of picks we've got this week. Oh man, couple of favorites, then a few almost favorites, then deuces, treys and uniques all over the place. You know damn well this is gonna be a good one... Let's get it on! Later,
