| A team so nice it was picked twice... |
 First, sorry about this email being late... various excuses.
Second, sorry for not mentioning in the earlier "listing of
picks" email that Steve and I chose the same 7 golfers. But I
can't avoid mentioning it now because Steve and I tied for first
this week. We had all of our picks make the cut and were the
only players to have 4 golfers in the top 10. The whole pool
did well, picking 7 of the top 10 golfers. It was Steve's 2nd
win of the year, my first. Mike D. charged hard at the end,
along with his pick of Sergio, but fell short by just under $87k
and ended up in the last money spot. Having Phil "M/C"
Mickelson on his team didn't help his cause. Randy finished
4th, about $343k out of the money.Steve's win helped him jump up from 3rd to capture the Spring Season title. Hugh stayed in 2nd, $350,317 behind Steve. Shelley finished in the final Spring money spot, just under $420k behind Hugh. I ended up on the money bubble, about $429k away from the cash. Hugh hung on to win the Spring "T.M.C." by just over $898k over Shelley. Randy came up from 5th to grab 3rd place. Dave B. was 4th, missing the money by around $92k. We get an extra week off before we start up the Summer Season in about 16 days in not so beautiful anymore Dublin, Ohio for our "5th major", The Memorial Tournament. I call it our 5th major only because it is the only tournament other than the 4 majors that we have played every year in this pool. And it is closer to a real major than that thing they played last week. But we don't pay it like a major, and neither does Jack, so it's just another good tournament... when it's not raining, anyway. Get those picks in on time. Later,
