 The alphabetized picks and round 1 standings are on the site.
We chose 23 golfers. As anyone could have predicted, Rory is a
unanimous favorite. Adam Scott is the 2nd most popular pick,
chosen 13 times. Rose and Garcia are on 11 teams each. Ten of
us like Rickie Fowler. Phil and Keegan were picked 7 times
each. Furyk got the nod 5 times. Two of of 3 biggest pussies
suppose to play this week, Kuchar and Bubba, are treys. Lots of
deuces: Kaymer, Reed, Spieth, Casey, McDowell, Snedeker and
Leishman. In case you are wondering who that third pussy is, he
was also a unanimous pick. We unanimously, and wisely, rejected
Tiger. In a major, no less. That's probably a first, but I'll
bet not the last time that happens. He's done.We do have a few uniques, six actually. Dave B. leads with 2. Chris, Dave A., Mike M. and I have one each. The other 10 of us could not find "Glory's Last Unique". These things are getting pretty predicable. Five favorites, a couple of mid-favorites, then uniques, deuces and trey abound. Just over 65% of the golfers picked are 1's, 2's or 3's. The course seems to be giving up a lot of birdies and it's suppose to rain, so that means even more birdies for these guys. Actually the weather forecast looks awful, they may not get this done by Sunday. Regardless of how long it takes, I think it's gonna be a damn good one... Let's Get It On! Later,
