| It's much easier to win when your golfers make the cut... |
 Brian was the only player with 6 golfers making the cut, all
of them finished in the top 20 and he won this week by $159,500
over Jordie. It was Brian's 2nd win of the year, 9th time
cashing and record-tying 5th cash of the Summer Season. Jordie
had 5 cut makers, but they were all the same as Brian's team.
Jordie finished $165,000 ahead of 3rd place Hugh. Mike D. ended
up 4th, $165,875 away from the last money spot.Brian extended his Summer Season lead to a bit under $1.2 million. Dave remained in 2nd and leads Jordie, who moved up 2 spots, by just short of $548k. I am still on the Summer bubble, about $505k out of 3rd place. It will take some amazing picking to catch Brian in the Year-Long race. His lead is now over $2.5 million. Dave jumped ahead of Steve and leads him by around $864k. I am 4th, about $606k behind Steve. No time to rest, we are going consecutive weeks to end the year. Our final tournament will be a home match for Jordie, at the TPC Boston in Norton, Massachusetts and The Deutsche Bank Championship. They are down to the supposed 100 best, so the cut will be small. We still have some good battles for 2nd and 3rd places, Brian's looking pretty good for the 1st places and has a shot at the Season Pool Grand Slam, though he still could pick 7 golfer who aren't playing. Could, but doubtful. The "T.M.C." is still up for grabs. Despite them playing on a TPC course, this is going to be a good finish. Time to get your golf pool on! This one starts on Friday, but still, get those picks in on time. Later,
