 The organized picks and round one standings for this weeks
event are on the site. We chose 37 golfers. No one was
anywhere close to being unanimous. Patrick Reed and Jon Rahm
are the most popular picks, chosen 12 times each. The Bubba
shows up on 11 teams. Brooks Koepka and Branden Grace were
picked 10 times each. Zach Johnson is on 9 teams. Smilin' Matt
Kuchar got the nod 5 times. Louie O. and J.B.H. are 4-baggers.
Paul Casey is the only trey. The deuces this week are Keegan
Bradley, Justin Thomas, Jim Furyk, Webb Simpson and The
DeChambeau.A whopping 22 uniques. Mike M. leads the way with 4. Oliver, Dan, Bill and Mike D. have 3 each. Chris has 2. Dave, Randy, Hugh and Brian G. have one each. The other 6 of us somehow missed out finding a Hartford unique. Steve and Brian T. have the same 7 golfers. I think it's pretty obvious this week is going to be some wide-open golf pooling. There are a few somewhat favorites, but the uniques are almost 60% of the golfers picked and the uniques/deuces/treys are over 75%. Both of those percentages are high for the year. When only 18 of the top 50 in the world are playing this type of thing is going to happen. I saw a little bit of the first round and the course doesn't look too bad for a TPC track, lots of risk/reward holes... this is going to be a wild one and for sure a damn good one... Lets get it on!
