 The alphabetized picks and round one
standings for this week's tournament are on the site. We chose
29 golfers. Henrik is the favorite, picked by all but one of
us. Rickie and Rory tied for 2nd most popular, chosen 14 times
each. Jason Day made it on to 12 teams. Hideki shows up 10
times. Nine of us like Justin Rose. Paul Casey got the nod 4
times. Charl, Tyrrell and Zach are treys. This week's deuces
are Francesco Molinari, Tommy Fleetwood, Wesley Bryan, Adam
Hadwin, Jamie Lovemark and Brandt Snedeker.About 45% of the golfers picked this week are uniques. Oliver leads with 3. Jordie and Chris have 2 each. Andrew, Joe, Dan, Randy, Hugh and Mike D. have one each. The remaining 7 of us decided not to honor the King with a unique pick. We have 5 entries in the NCAA March Madness pool, so the winner will take away $25. We have about 6 clear favorites then some serious gambling going on. I think The King would have been proud of this set of picks. He took chances when he played. The weather is suppose to be good all week, with a little breeze, so Bay Hill should play as fair as it can. This is the first "TMC" event of the year and the purse is up over $2 million from last year, so someone could take a nice lead out of the gate in that pool. This has just gotta be a good one, The King would have it no other way... Let's get it on! Later,
