 The organized picks and round one
standings for this week's tournament are on the site. We chose
38 golfers. Smiling Matt Kuchar and his Masters hole-in-one is
the week's favorite, picked 15 times. Russell Henley is the 2nd
most popular choice, on 11 teams. Nine players preferred Kevin
Kisner. Eight of us like Canuck Adam Hadwin. Bill McGirt and
Charles Hoffman show up 7 times each. Luke Donald and Brandt
Snedeker were picked 5 times each. Jason Dufner got the nod 4
times. Jim Furyk, Martin Kaymer, Pat Perez, Branden Grace and
Tyrrell Hatton are all treys. Francesco Molinari and Matt
Fitzpatrick are the deuces of the week.We have 22 uniques, though that number gets an asterisk. Oliver has 7, but none of them are playing. Bummer. Chris has 3. Dave, Joe and Bill have 2 each. Hugh, Dan, Randy, Jordie and both Mikes have one each. The other 5 of us found no Hilton Head uniques. This is about what expected from this field. A couple clear favorites then things are wide open. There should be plenty of lead changes in our standings, and probably on the course too. The round one scores seem pretty low, so the course must be playing pretty easy. The lighthouse is still there on #18 so you know it's gonna be a good one... Later,
