 The alphabetized picks and round one
standings for this week's tournament are on the site. We chose
24 golfers. Everyone thinks D.J. has healed from his drug
induced Masters fall and made him our second unanimous pick of
the year. Jon Rahm is the #2 favorite, showing up on all but
one team. Kevin Kisner was chosen 12 times. Adam Scott and
Bill McGirt made it on to 10 teams each. Home course favorite
Webb Simpson got the nod 8 times. Seven of us like Wes Bryan.
Paul Casey was picked 6 times. The Phil is on 5 teams. Bill
Haas and Pat Reed are this week's treys. Shane Lowry, Dan
Berger, Frank Molinari and Emily Grillo are all deuces.Nine unique picks. Hugh leads with 3. Joe and Oliver have 2 each. Dan and Mike M. have 1 each. The other 11 of us will not know the grandeur or ugliness of a unique pick this week. This is a fairly tight bunch of picks. We have 3 very clear favorites and 6 golfers picked by more than half of us. Fifteen of the 24 picks are uniques, deuces or treys, so that might keep things interesting. The course must be playing pretty tight too; 80 golfers are within 6 strokes of the leader. I think it's going to go down to the wire and, of course, be a damn good one... Let's get it on! Later,
