 The picks and round one standings for the
final Spring Season event are on the site. We used 38 golfers,
though only 32 are playing. Defending champ Jordan Spieth is
the favorite, chosen 14 times. Rookie Jon Rahm was picked one
less time than Spieth. Ten of us like Sergio. Half of us like
Dufner. Paul Casey and smilin' Matt were picked 7 times each.
Pat Perez got the nod 5 times. Kevin Kisner and Ryan Palmer are
4-baggers. Mickelson, Snedeker and Finau are treys. This
week's deuces are Zach Johnson, Ryan Moore, Adam Hadwin, Kyle
Stanley and Sung Kang.We have 21 unique picks on the board, though only 15 are playing. Hugh has 5 of those non-playing uniques. Oliver has the other unique not playing plus 2 who are. Jordie also has 3 uniques. Andrew, Joe and Mike M. have 2 each. Chris, Dan, Randy and Dave have one each. The other 6 of us played it to the fat part of the green and are uniqueless. Steve and Brian T. have the same 7 golfers. Even throwing out the non-playing golfers this is a pretty wide open bunch of picks. Only 3 of 32 were chosen by more than half of us. The uniques, deuces and treys are 23 of 32. It's going to take at least a couple of top 3 picks to catch the Spring Season leaders. The top 3 in that race have at least a $1.2 million lead over 4th place, but these picks look like someone could give them a run. Plus there may be some movement between those Season leaders. This is golf pooling at it's finest in the Land of The Hawk. I'm quite certain this is going to be a good one... Let's get it on! Later,
