 The picks and standings for this week's
tournament are on the site. We chose 30 golfers. The Man in
Orange was a unanimous pick. Patrick Reed was the #2 most
popular golfer, chosen 11 times. Ten players like Marc Leishman.
Billy Haas and Justin Thomas made 9 teams each. David Lingmerth
was picked 7 times. Kevin Chappell got the nod 6 times.
Brendan Steele, Tony Finau and Danny Lee show up 5 times each.
Russell Henley is a 4-bagger. J.B. Holmes and Xander "Mr. X"
Schauffele are treys. The deuces are Billy Horschel and Kevin
Na.Fifteen unique picks this week, though that gets an asterisks due to to Dave's 6 non-playing uniques. Bill and Dan have 2 each. Chris, Joe, Jordie and both Mikes have 1 each. The other 8 of us are uniqueless. This bunch of picks was kind of what I expected after looking at the field list. Rickie is the only "big name" golfer, and he's been playing well, so I figured him to be the favorite. Then I thought it would be fairly wide open after that, and it pretty much is, though throwing out the non-playing golfers we only picked 24. They are spread out pretty well, however. They have not played this course before on the PGA Tour, though I guess they played a Web.com event here not long ago. It seems like a fairly tough track, which is good for these guys. And it should make for some damn good golf pooling.... Let's get it on! Later,
