| We are at full golf pooling strength... |
 The picks and standings for this week's
tournament are on the site. We chose 28 golfers. Defending
champion D.J. is our favorite, chosen 15 times. The Spieth kid
was the 2nd most popular golfer, on 13 teams. J.T. shows up on
11 teams. Ten of us like Englishman Paul Casey. The Phil made
the cut for 8 players. The man who's name sounds like a French
hors d'oeuvre, Chez Reavie, and Mick's cousin, Tommy Fleetwood,
were picked 7 times each. Six players think Rory will find his
putting this week. Ollie The Schnide got the nod 5 times.
Thomas Pieters and Charley Hoffman are 4-baggers. Matt Kuchar,
Marc Leishman and what's-his-name are treys. The deuces this
week are Grace, Noren, Perez, Scott, Berger and The X-Man.Eight uniques. Dave leads with 2. Dan, Tom, Joe, Andrew, Brian G. and Mike D. have one each. The remaining 10 of us will not find L.A. glory or shame through a unique pick this week. This is a nice set of picks. A few favorites but no one close to unanimous. Some quality mid-range picks and then 17 uniques, deuces and treys. They're playing on one of the great classic courses on Tour that's tough but still scoreable if you golf your ball well. All this will make for what is sure to be a damn good one... "Don't you wish that you could be here too?..." Let's get it on! Later,
