| 28 golfers, 12 uniques and one didn't even bother to show up... |
 The round one standings for this week's tournament are up on
the site. The picks have been up since 11:20 am. We chose 28
different golfers. No unanimous picks, but Gray-me McDowell was
the favorite, showing up on 11 teams. World number one Martin
Kaymer was the number two favorite, picked 10 times. Matt
Kuchar, Tiger Whatshisname and Phil Whoever are on 8 teams
each. Nick Watney got the nod 7 times. Luke Donald and Charl
"take a couple letters from my last name and put them in my
first name" Schwartzel were chosen 6 times each. Five of the
teams contain Paul Casey. Four poor players thought Bubba
Watson would show up this week. Lee Westwood is the lone trey.
The deuces include Haas, Kim, Quiros, Villegas and DJ.A manageable number of unique picks this week: 12. Chris and Mike M. are the unique leaders with 3 each. Dan and Dave B. came up with 2 each. Jordie and Elise have one each. The other 8 players will not feel the wrath or joy of a unique pick this week. Stupid Golf Channel inspired stat of the week: Six of the top 20 in the world rankings are unique picks. The Blue Monster with the top golfers in the world pounding it out in the rain and sun. What more could you ask for? A hell of a golf tournament? Oh you know damn well it's gonna be that... Let's get it on! Later,
