 The legible picks and early round 1 standings for this week's
tournament are up on the site. We chose 29 golfers. Kuchar and
Stricker are the favorites, picked 11 times each. Jason Day is
on 10 teams. Nine players like Luke. Dustin Johnson's name
appears 8 times. Vijay got the nod 6 times. Watney and Scott
were chosen 5 times each. Man-boobs is the only 4-bagger.
Woodland is the lone trey. Lots of deuces: Snedeker, Gainey,
Simpson, Watson, Schwartzel, Bradley and Y.E. Wang ("What's with
the pictures Wang, it's a parking lot?").Twelve unique picks this week. Mike M. is the clear leader with 5. Dan and Dave A. have 3 each. Dave B. has one. The other 10 players aren't gambling quite so much and are uniqueless. An interesting set of picks this week. A few pretty clear favorites, a few semi-favorites, then 21 of 29 golfers are picked 4 times or less. This one should be tight at the top unless one of the gamblers unique picks takes it low. I guess the course survived the hurricane... all the pool players in Irene's path did. We've got the supposed 100 best PGA Tour players battling it out in "Baw-ston" in the 2nd round of the "Playoffs", the next to the last Rule 20-6 event of the year... oh damn straight it's gonna be a good one...
