Hugh Wins The WGC-Cadillac Championship! |
He must have taken some lessons from Dave B. over the winter... |
Thanks to Bubba's strong finish, Kuchar and Dufner's inability
to make a putt, and despite picking Faker Woods and a golfer who
withdrew, Hugh won this week by $156,667 over Shelley. It was
his 2nd win of the year, 4th cash of the year and 3rd cash in a
row. Shelley, who also had pool pick top finisher Bubba, was
hurt by Dufner and Kuchar's Sunday poor play. Brian, the only
other player with Bubba, finished 3rd, about $79k behind
Shelley. Brett ended up on the money bubble, around $290k short
of Brian. This was the first "T.M.C." event of the year so those standing are just like this week's tournament: Hugh, Shelley, Brian and Brett. Steve remained in first in the Season race, but his lead was cut to just over $634k. Shelley moved up from 3rd to 2nd. Hugh jumped up from 6th to take over the last money spot. Brian came up one spot to 4th. We finally get a week off and in about 10 days we will get back on it at The King's Place in Orlando for The Arnold Palmer Invitational at The Bay Hill Club and Lodge. I wonder what the "Lodge" looks like? It will be the 2nd "T.M.C." event of the season and I'm sure Tiger will find some sort of "injury" to blame for his bad play. Hey hero, I've got an idea for ya, lay off the power lifting and the HGH. That'll help your back and probably your golf game, too. Get those picks in on time. Later, |
