 The picks and round one standings are on the site. We chose
25 golfers. Young Jordan Spieth joined the unanimous club,
making it on to everyone's team. Justin Rose and Jason Day were
picked 12 times each. Eleven players like Keegan. Sneeedeker
got the nod 10 times. Six of us got caught Dufnering. Five
brave players think Tiger's back won't explode before Sunday.
Gary Woodland, Bill Haas and Brendon Todd are 4-baggers. K.J.
and Webb are the only treys. Watney, deJonge and Sang-Moon are
this week's deuces.Ten unique picks. Chris is the leader with 2. Brett, Dan, Shelley, Jordie, Brian, Mike D. and both Daves have one each. The other 6 of us remembered we're in D.C. and did nothing unique and probably nothing useful. Five pretty clear favorites then we gamble a bit. With this field, I would have guessed six golfers picked 10 or more times. If Tiger had rested longer (like he should have) we might have made that number. The over/under on the number of players picking Tiger was right on, so the house wins it all there. This mix of picks should keep it close through the weekend, so look forward to some exciting golf pooling. And with any luck Tiger will not make the cut and we'll get to see someone else play, like the leaders. With or without Mr. STD, it's gonna be a good one... Let's get it on! Later,
