 The picks and round one standings for
this week's tournament are on the site. We chose 26 golfers.
Youngster Jon Rahm is the favorite and a unanimous pick. D.J.
is the #2 favorite, chosen by all but 2 lucky players. Spieth
shows up on 11 teams. Tony Finau and Jason Day were picked 10
times each. Adam Scott got the nod 9 times. Kuchar and
Matsuyama are on 7 teams each. Five of us like Fowler. Byeong
Hun An is the only trey. Kisner, Leishman, Grillo and McGirt
are the deuces.Twelve uniques. Chris leads with 4. Hugh and Dan have 2 each. Jordie, Joe, Oliver and Dave have one each. The other nine of us do not have a Golden Bear unique this week. Randy and Bill picked the same 7 golfers. We put up a tight set of picks. Six, or 23%, of the golfers chosen were picked by more than half of us. But we still have 12 uniques and 65% uniques, deuces or treys. That'll keep it real and maybe put someone out to a nice Summer Season lead. All the golfers are being coddled, pampered and protected from the unwashed masses this week at Jack's place... there is really no excuse for bad scores. And there should be no reason this won't be a damn good one... Let's get it on! Later,
