 The organized picks and round one
standings for this week's tournament are on the site. We chose
27 golfers. Patrick Reed is the favorite, on 14 teams.
Thirteen of us like Billy Haas. Kevin Kisner was picked 12
times. David Lingmerth made it on to 10 teams. Tony Finau was
chosen 9 times. Danny Lee and Phil Mickelson were picked 8
times each. Chucky Howell got the nod 6 times. Five players
like Russell Henley. Webb Simpson and Sung Kang are 4-baggers.
No treys this week, but the deuces include Bubba Watson, Graham
DeLaet and non-playing Rickie Fowler.Thirteen uniques, with that asterisks again. Chris leads with 3 non-playing uniques. Oliver has 2 non-playing uniques and Dan has 2 that are playing. Jordie, Dave, Hugh, Joe, Andrew and Brian T. have one each (all playing). The other 7 of us will not have the help or hindrance of a hillbilly unique this week. These picks are a lot tighter than I expected. Throwing out the non-playing golfers we chose 21 golfers with 8 uniques. Those are major-like numbers. There are not many big names playing, so I thought there would be a bit more gambling this week. Maybe we all were busy and just made quick, stock picks. Regardless this one is going to be close all week. The scores are low so far and I predict some damn good golf pooling... Let's get it on! Later,
