 Dan was the only player to have 3 top 10
picks and thanks in large part to his unique pick of T9 J.B.
Holmes (how did the rest of us miss him?) won this week by
$17,171 over Jordie. All the cashers had low Pool pick T5
Russell Henley, but Dan added T9 Danny Lee to wrap up the win.
It was his 2nd cash of the year and the Summer Season. Jordie's
2nd place finish was his 4th cash of 2017. Andrew took the last
money spot, $14,981 behind Jordie. It was also his 4th time in
the money this year. Steve ended up on the bubble, $108,450 out
of the money.The top 4 in the Summer Season standings did not change. They are still, in order, Mike D., Chris, Brian G. and Joe. In the Year-Long race the top 3, Mike M., Brian T. and Steve, did not change. Andrew moved up from 5th to 4th. There is still about $1.25 million separating 3rd place from 10th, so with 5 tournaments to go a lot of people still have an opportunity to cash. We are off this week. In about 8 days we go across the Atlantic to Southport, England and the Royal Birkdale G.C. for the 146th Open Championship, or as we call it in this country, The British Open, the third major of the year. Actually it's more like 7 1/2 days since the first tee time will be around 1:30 AM on that Thursday. That's before the bars close on Wednesday. Plan accordingly. Get those picks in on time. Later,
