| 22 golfers and 6 uniques.... Maybe this is a major? |
 The picks and round one standings for this week's tournament
are up on the site. We chose a mere 22 golfers, low for the
year. McIlroy and Spieth tied for the number one spot, picked
12 times each. Scott and Kuchar were both almost favorites,
showing up 11 times each. Nine of us like both Rose and loopy
Jim. Dufner and D.J. were chosen 6 times each. Bubba got the
nod 5 times. Luke and Man Boobs are 4-baggers. No treys this
week, but Stricker, Haas, Mahan, Moore and Chappell are all
deuces.Only six unique picks. Chris is the clear leader with 3. Shelley, Dan and Mike M. have one each. The other 11 of us spent too much time looking at the Expert picks and found no Memorial uniques. Well we certainly went with the favorites. Six golfers were picked by more than half of us and four of them are double-digit picks. I think that's some sort of record. But half of our 22 golfers are uniques or deuces, so this still could get interesting before we are done. Hopefully CBS will keep Jack off the air this weekend, we all know the ball goes too far these days, but I doubt it. It is his tournament and fortunately my mute button still works. With or without the game's greatest player's arrogance it's gonna be a damn good one... Let's get it on! Later,
