| Lots of uniques to start the year... |
 The 2017 Rule 20-6 Golf Pool is
underway! The picks and round one standing are up on the site.
We chose 34 golfers. Defending champion Adam Scott is the
favorite, picked 15 times. Sergio and Rickie tied for 2nd most
popular golfer, chosen 13 times each. Justin Thomas and Daniel
Berger tied with 11 votes each. Russell Knox got the nod 9
times. Six of us like Thomas Pieters. Koepka and Woodland are
treys. This weeks deuces are Bradley, Casey and Cabrera Bello.Lots of uniques for week one, 22 total. Oliver leads with 4. Mike D. has 3. Bill, Jordie, Randy, Dan and Hugh have 2 each. Chris, Andrew, Dave, Joe and Brian T. have one each. The remaining 4 of us, Steve, Brian G., Mike M. and me, missed out on this week's unique party. Steve and I have the same 7 golfers. As you can see from the previous paragraph everyone from last year is back, so the payouts will be the same as last year. Those amounts are on the Rules of Play page, #15. With all these uniques and a course that doesn't always seem to produce a big-name winner, someone could take a nice early lead in the standings. The Bear Trap will no doubt kill off some uniques. PGA National is not my favorite course, but it does make you hit shots down the stretch. I'm sure it's gonna be a good one, but I'm just glad to be golf pooling again... Let's get it on! Later,
